Enlightenment

There has been a lot of fuss about corruption in the Democratic party, and related to ms. Clinton. Honestly, I doubt it is so terrible as people say it is. There is a lot of people wanting to throw mud in an election.

What do we do about it, because this issue is going to reappear in this election?

We need to come up with a plan to tackle it.

First of all, we need to relate to our own values.

Let me give you an example. When his eminence Pope Francis, whom I hold in extremely high regard, started his office, he was met by a corrupt organisation. This is no secret, and the reason he was elected was basically because no-one else wanted to deal with the mess. So the electorate chose someone who was clean, had a long experience with conflict in his constituency and a man founded in one of the most ethical parts of the Catholic Church; the Franciscans.

What mr. Bergoglio did was to find the corruption and root it out. There were some in the Vatican bank, and some in relation to young choir boys.

He got rid of it, and he did it fast.

Now the Vatican is accountable, and not seen as corrupt anymore, thanks to pope Francis. In the long run, this will be a very important step in the right direction.

You see, disciplin is at the heart of the Roman church, and it has become a disciplinen church again.

The US has another very important virtue, that enshrines the very lifeblood of the Nation; enlightenment. Symbolised by the statue of liberty and again enshrined in the very first amendment.

If a party is seen as creating someting unenlightening, the citizens will rebel and take offence.

What I am proposing is to do the same as mr. Bergoglio did with the Roman church, to a great succes and do it to first the democratic party and then wherever possible; to enlighten, to create transparency in the governmental structures.

This would be a bold move, and it would silence the critics.

G-d bless the will to enlighten.
